Stihl RMA253 Cordless Lawnmower

The Stihl RMA253 Cordless Lawnmower has a robust steel deck and a 20″ (51cm) width of cut making it ideal for medium to larger sized lawns.

The four-wheel design makes the RMA253 easy to push around the garden, and the 55 litre grass box with a box-full indicator allows you to see, at a glance, when the box needs to be emptied. When it is time to empty the box, a hinged lid makes emptying a simple task.

A central height of cut adjustment means that the height of cut is adjusted at just one point and all four wheels are adjusted simultaneously. Seven heights of cut are available between 25-75mm.

When you’ve finished mowing, the handles fold for the easy and compact storage of the mower in your garage or shed.

The RMA253 is part of the Stihl AP range, using the AP System batteries and chargers. Stihl recommend using the 36 volt lithium-ion AP 300 battery which covers a working area of 300 m² on a single charge. The battery and charger are sold separately.

RMA253 with AP200 battery 250m²

RMA253 with AP300 battery 300m² (recommended combination)

RMA253 with AP300S battery 370m²
