Stihl RMA248 Cordless Lawnmower

The Stihl RMA 248 cordless lawnmower is easy to operate and has an 18″ (46cm) width of cut, making it ideal for homeowners with small to medium sized lawns.

The four-wheel design of the RMA 248 means the mower is easy to push around the lawn, and a large 55-litre grass catcher box reduces the number of times you’ll need to empty your clippings during each cut. The grass catcher features a box-full indicator which allows you to see, at a glance, when the box is full. When you do need to empty the catcher, a hinged lid makes emptying a simple task.

Changing the height of cut is adjusted at one point on the mower which simultaneously adjusts all four wheels. There are seven cutting heights to choose from between 25-75mm.

When you’ve finished mowing, the handles can be folded down for compact storage of the mower.

Power is provided by a 36 volt lithium-ion battery, and thanks to an automatic eco mode and flow-optimised blade there is plenty of runtime available from a single charge.

Powered by Stihl’s AK battery range, Stihl recommend the AK 30 battery which provides a working area of up to 250m². The maximum cutting areas of the other AK range batteries are:

• RMA 248 with AK 10 battery 100m²
• RMA 248 with AK 20 battery 200m²
• RMA 248 with AK 30 battery 250m² (recommended)
