A foot operated hydrostatic drive transmission gives you maximum control over the speed of the MTF 98H-SD, allowing you to easily speed up in wide open spaces to mow faster, and slow down for the tighter areas to give you more control.

Engaging and disengaging the cutting blades is really easy, simply use the switch on the dashboard. The grass cuttings are discharged to the side of the mower, or mulched back into the ground with the optional mulching kit. Mulching keeps the cuttings in the mower deck for longer so that they’re cut into tiny pieces, allowing them to easily decompose and act as fertiliser when they hit the ground.

Adjusting the height of cut is also easy, simply use the single lever on the side to select one of 7 cutting heights between 25 and 80mm. This wide range of cutting heights mean whatever application you’re cutting, be it a lawn, orchard or roadside verge, there is a cutting height to suit.

Cleaning the mower deck is also effortless with the built in wash port, allowing you to easily wash away cuttings and dirt from beneath the deck. All without needing to go near the blades.
