The Eliet Maestro City petrol shredder is the ideal choice if you have too much garden waste for an electric shredder to cope with or you just want the power, performance and freedom from cables afforded by a petrol powered shredder.
The Maestro City has a robust construction and features a wide hopper opening for ease of feeding garden waste into the shredding chamber. With a 40mm shredding capacity, the Maestro City is able to cope with garden waste ranging from large branches to small hedge clippings and green waste.
The pneumatic wheels make it easy to transport the Maestro City to and from the working area.
The Maestro City uses Eliet’s patented chopping principle which works on the basis of a series of triangular blades facing the material being fed into the shredder. By using this principle, the shredder is cutting the garden waste along the line of least resistance. The principle is the same as using an axe to cut down the grain of a log rather than across it. By using this principle, Eliet shredders are highly efficient and the shredded material is ideal for composting or to use as a mulch on the garden.
The shredding blades can be sharpened and are reversible for maximum use from one set of blades.
Power is provided by a reliable Briggs & Stratton engine and the shreddings are discharged into the integral 60 litre collection bag which slides out for emptying.
If you want to shred soft garden waste such as bedding plants and piles of leaves, an optional multi-purpose shredding screen is available. This multi-purpose screen has larger holes than the standard screen which allows soft waste to exit the shredding chamber quickly.
